Peabee Anjay (ギュウヒ・オグラ, Gyūhi Ogura, Gyuuhi Ogura) is a character in Magical Vacation. He is one of the first characters met by the party in the Dark Realm, and he used to be a geography teacher at Will-o'-Wisp Academy. Since his retirement, he helps people in the Dark Realm by pointing them in the right direction.[1]

Peabee Anjay considers himself to be an expert of the universe and its secrets, which he takes much pride in. His wisdom also extends to knowing everything about a person by simply looking at them.
Appearance[]
He has wrinkly skin, baggy eyes, and silver hair. Over his mouth is a long moustache, and most of his hair is kept up in a purple fez-like hat with a red checkered pattern.
Over 200 years ago, Peabee Anjay had the body of a human. He wore a long purple surplice with red outlines along the sleeve cuffs, collar, and ephod. In his right hand, he wielded a golden cleric's staff, decorated with two rings and a red jewel. In present times, his body is that of a caterpillar's. It is lumpy, green, and has short spots of hair on the tip of its tail.

Magical Vacation[]
Peabee Anjay is a former Will-o'-Wisp professor who gave up his whole body (except for his head) when he was 280 years-old. Since he no longer had any use for the old body, he allowed Will-o'-Wisp to keep it in one of the science rooms.
Shortly after shifting into the Dark Realm, the protagonist and their friends find Peabee Anjay at the southwest end of Spollacs Swamp Edge. The retired teacher senses that they are students of Miss Madeleine, and also learns of their Enigma persecution. He gives them a Map of Darkness so they can travel through the Dark Realm with ease, then advises they go north to Masala Chai Village.
In the post-game, Peabee Anjay is found in Garam Masala guarding the main passageway. He tells the party of when he and Biscotti were wizards-in-training, and how they traversed through the ancient palace to test their skills.
Name origin[]
Peabee Anjay's name is a wordplay of PB&J, an acronym for "peanut butter and jelly".
His Japanese name, Gyuuhi Ogura, comes from "gyūhi" (soft mochi), and "ogura" (red bean paste).
Trivia[]
- Despite Peabee Anjay having art depicting him with a human body, he is never seen like this in-game.
